• 1 avocado
• 1/2 tomato
• 1/4 red onion
• red chilli
• 2 tspn garlic
• 1/2 lime
• salt
• tortilla chips
• 1 – 2 tspn hot sauce (optional)

1. Peel and cut the avocado into chunks, place in bowl and mash with a fork until smooth (or keep a little chunky, up to you).

2. Finely chop the tomato, onion, red chilli,  and garlic (garlic should be so fine it is practically minced) and add to bowl. Mix everything together.

3. Squeeze the juice from the lime half and add a few pinches of salt to the bowl. Also add the hot sauce if desired. Mix it all together again.

4. Serve the guacamole from bowl with the tortilla chips.
